The VSA cares deeply about all veterans and providing resources to those who need them. When we lose one of our own, the entire community is affected. Please use the resources below or share them with someone who needs them.

The Suicide Prevention Center - sprc.org

Veterans Crisis Line: Call 988, and use extension 1

National Suicide Prevention Hotline: Dial 1-800-273-TALK (8255). When prompted, press '1' to be connected to a VA call center. A confidential chat option is available online for veterans at VeteransCrisisLine.net.

National Veterans Foundation: Call 1-888-777-4443 or visit NVF.org. The National Veterans Foundation offers crisis management, information referrals, and outreach for veterans in need.

VA's Homelessness Hotline: Call 1-877-424-3838 if you are currently experiencing homelessness or are on the verge of homelessness.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): For free, confidential information on where to find mental health and substance abuse resources, call 1-800-622-4357. Mental health treatment centers can be found on SAMHSA.gov
